Storage expert Synology has announced that it has launched two new Network Attached Storage (NAS) servers: the DS416 and the DS216play. The former seems to be built for businesses, packing a “powerful” hardware encryption engine while the latter solution focuses on home media streaming thanks to on-the-fly 4K video transcoding.
