Hyatt is warning customers that it recently discovered malware looming on computers that operate the company’s payment processing systems. It’s not clear how long the malware has been present or when Hyatt first found out about the security breach, though the company did say it launched an investigation and called for help from “leading third-party cyber security experts” as soon as it discovered the rogue code.
