Hello again, everyone!
It feels like I was just here with another big announcement from our studio, but now that E3 is behind us I’m back to remind you all about Lumines Remastered, our beloved musical puzzler, which will be shinin’ its way onto PS4 starting on June 26th — just in time to kick off the summer.
And what better way to celebrate than with FREE STUFF! (Well, free for those who buy the game, at least.)
I’m happy to announce today that anyone who purchases Lumines Remastered on PS4 for the first two weeks (from launch through July 9th) will get our Digital Deluxe DLC bundle absolutely free! That’s five Lumines-themed PS4 avatars, a groovy Lumines “Block Droppin’ Beats” PS4 Dynamic Theme, and a whopping 20-song soundtrack sampler, all for free! (After that it’ll be sold separately.)
Wanna see all what you’d be getting? First up, here’s a peek at our Dynamic Theme (courtesy of our friends at Truant Pixel who were also responsible for all of our super-popular Rez Infinite dynamic themes!)
Next up, the soundtrack — a collection of .mp3 audio files you can copy to a USB drive and use wherever and however you like! While we couldn’t fit them all in (every single song from the original game is included in Lumines Remastered, after all!), we did manage to include quite a few favorites:
And of course your five PlayStation Network avatars — these pretty much speak for themselves:
So? Are we making the decision to pick up Lumines Remastered starting on June 26th any easier? I hope so, but let us know what you think in the comments below!
Oh, and one more thing before I go; in case you haven’t heard, a special Trance Vibration feature will also be included in Lumines Remastered!
This is basically a super-rumble mode, not included in the original game, that can have up to three extra controllers shakin’ along to the game and / or the music (you can set it up just how you like in the Options menu). Let us know which skins, play modes and vibration settings you’re looking forward to in the comments, and we hope you’ll check out Lumines Remastered starting next week!
