COINOPS FORGOTTEN WORLDS ATARSHII – PLAY – PLAYER – MAX – VERTICAL – Beautiful Arcade PC Front End

When you see how far CoinOps has “evolved” from the days of the original Microsoft Xbox on to PC (and even on to Linux!) , its safe to say the team are constantly giving it their all on this RetroFE based front end, no exception came when they released the Atarshii and Player series, via the Forgotten Worlds tag, a blend of everything good, from animated marquees to arcade collections that matter, before you even get into the actual arcade machine artwork, with the masses of releases in the past few years alone, its not simply about using “the latest” release its about choosing one that works for you, here are a great selection of releases from the Forgotten Worlds Atarshii builds.

“Atarashii” is Japanese and translates to “New, Fresh and Up to date” – so it looks like with the masses of code changes, media, and new features this is what the CoinOps team are gearing towards.

Due to false positives you will need to add an exclusion to your anti virus and ensuring your scanner whitelists the entire extracted directory , else you are going to end up deleting files (or more so your AV will) that are “false positives” that the games (especially some of the arcade ones) require to run.

NOTE: Files are UNALTERED – Arcade Punks do NOT edit or alter any files or images – We may, on occasion Archive them up to save YOUR bandwidth but our extracted files are EXACTLY like the source (its very easy to CRC check) – People may say “DONT DOWNLOAD FROM APUNKS”  but there is no real reason other than a bit of scene pettiness  – if seeking support in their forums/discord ensure you DO NOT mention that you downloaded FOR FREE, WITHOUT HASSLE from Arcade Punks – it is EXACTLY the same files.
