Hyperkin Announces Handheld Console Compatible With Genesis® and Mega Drive Cartridges
January 12, 2024 (Los Angeles, Calif.) Los Angeles-based video game hardware developer, Hyperkin, has
announced they are developing a handheld console, the Mega 95, compatible with original Genesis®
and Mega Drive cartridges.
In the past decade, Hyperkin has released, to much acclaim, the SupaBoy line of handheld consoles,
compatible with Super NES® and Super FamicomTM cartridges. Unlike the SupaBoy, the Mega 95 comes
with a display dock that outputs at 720p HD via HD cable that includes two controller inputs so you can
challenge anyone who dares to try.

• Type-C dock with TV output (720p HD) and 2 controller inputs
