Super Mario 64 takes the top spot which comes as no surprise when you think of the fans the franchise has acquired through the years. Released in 1996 it was a highly anticipated game by players and fanatics. It is the best-selling Nintendo 64 game, with nearly 12 million copies sold by 2015. Its value has increased 7.5x its original price with some original packaging games selling for big money. One such game sold for a whopping $1.5 million in 2021 although the average is between $800-$900.

Baldur’s Gate was released in 1998 and has garnered quite the fanbase ever since. With re-releases and expansions, Baldur’s Gate remains a fan favorite among generations with the average copy reselling for $874 and a 75% increase in original value. Over 2.9 million people are discussing Baldur’s Gate online.

Halo: Combat Evolved was originally released in 2001. One million units had been sold roughly five months after release, a faster pace than that of any previous sixth-generation console game. As the first game in the game franchise, Halo: Combat Evolved has held onto its nostalgic value for millennials. Copies of the game re-sell on average for $360 which is a 41% increase!
