Why You Have to Play: Dungeons & DoomKnights

There are tons of indie games on the Switch, but AdventureQuest 8-Bit: Dungeons & DoomKnight is a blast. Developed by Artix Entertainment and published by Nami Tentou, AdventureQuest 8-Bit: Dungeons & DoomKnights is a title you may have missed when it was originally crowd-funded for a release on the NES, but on the Switch, it’s even better, with added content and tons of special features.

Don’t have a Switch? Have no fear! Xbox and PS editions are reportedly due out this Summer.

Here’s five reasons why you have to check it out now:

Mods?: The game’s Chaos Mod make a great game extremely different and unique. They also make exploring a lot of fun and a great way to get to places you couldn’t see in the main version.

CRT Filter: The game already plays like an NES game- this filter bangs that notion home ever harder.

Fun Story: If you loved games like Metroid and Castlevania as a kid, you’ll fall in love with this one. No one is to be trusted and the dialogue is fun.

Killer Score: This is definitely a game you’ll want to have your headphones on for.

Two More Games Included: ChronoKnight and NecroNancy come with the Switch version, giving you even more bang for your buck.
