We’ve just received word from our good friend Richard of Langford Productions, of a new PC game that has been released called ‘A Very Hairy Christmas’. A game which doesn’t just have nods to other classic games from the 80’s such as Pac-Man and PSSST, but it’s a rather lovely game for the upcoming festive season. As in the words of the developer “Star of many Spectrum games, Mr Hair makes his HD debut in the festive “A Very Hairy Christmas” for Windows PC” To coincide with this news, we’ve got the full story from the game as well as a trailer.
And here’s the story. “Whilst out Christmas shopping, Mr Hair’s family are snatched away by a deranged department store Santa who intends to use them to plump up his beard. Mr Hair must chase him through the store and rescue each member of his family from his evil clutches. Even thought he’s not the real Father Christmas, this nasty piece of work has learned a bit of magic along the way and has brought to life many of the store’s festive items and set them against our hero. Fortunately Mr Hair can see most of them off with a snowball or two, but with seven departments to get through, level bosses and a number of surprises along the way things aren’t going to be easy”.
