Unfinished Business: Cyborgs, Goblins and Lovecraftian Horrors Reign at Nacon Connect 2025
A famous philosopher once said that cosmic forces coalesce during each rotation of the Earth around the Sun, calling forth a Nacon Connect from the aether. I for one, am not a man who questions the wisdom of unnamed famous philosophers or things that strangers tell me on the internet.
Jokes aside, what I can tell you is that the 2025 edition of Nacon Connect was an absolute banger. And for those of you who missed it, let me share with you some of the biggest reveals and most exciting news from the show.
Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss
Having trouble sleeping again?
Like a nightmare from which you never awake; Nacon Connect started with the reveal of Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss. With conflict over Earth’s dwindling resources, corporations turn to the depths of the ocean, unaware of the horrors that lie beneath the surface of the waves.
Dive into the depths of the Pacific, investigating the disappearance of a group of miners with the help of your AI companion, Key, all the while resisting the calls of Cthulhu as you desperately cling to your sanity.
Get ready to delve into Lovecraftian madness when this exciting investigative thriller comes to Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
Edge of Memories
The recently revealed Edge of Memories also got its first gameplay reveal during the Nacon Connect. The beautiful, serene landscapes of Avaris are under the threat of a powerful corrupting influence, Corrosion, as it spreads across the land. Mutating anything in its path into horrific abominations.
As a Soul Whisperer, it’s your job to travel the world, easing the people of their burdens, and fighting back against the monsters inhabiting the world. During her journey, Eline awakens to a mysterious power that may hold the answer to thwarting the oncoming apocalypse.
Edge of Memories will be coming to Xbox Series X|S in Fall 2025.
Styx: Blades of Greed
Everyone’s favorite Green Goblin is back! No, not that one! This one doesn’t need a fancy metal suit to cause mayhem, a couple of Quartz crystals and a trap or two will do more than enough damage.
Fans of stealth games can rejoice as Styx is making a triumphant comeback with new powers and tools. But this time he’s unshackled, pursuing his own goals, building his crew aboard a zeppelin while navigating a world on the brink of war. Though that is the perfect time to cause a l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ lot of chaos in this dark fantasy universe.
Go goblin mode and get greedy cause Styx: Blades of Greed comes to Xbox Series X|S in Fall 2025.
Hell is Us
Take an extended look at upcoming action-adventure game, Hell is Us ahead of its launch later this year. An ongoing civil war has divided the country and led to the appearance of strange supernatural creatures as our hero Remi returns to Hadea, slipping through the blockade to uncover the secrets of his past.
The onus for progression in Hell is Us is on the player, there are no quest markers, no map, nor a compass pointing you in the direction of your next objective. You’re on an investigation, finding things that interest you as you go. What you do or don’t discover is entirely down to how much you’re willing to engage with the world. The secrets are yours to own.
We’re excited to welcome you into Hadeo on September 4 when Hell is Us comes to Xbox Series X|S. You can pre-order the game here!
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu
The next project from Chilean developer ACE Team was revealed at Nacon Connect. Grab some friends, gear up aboard your galleon, and depart for a cursed jungle inspired by the horror stories of H.P Lovecraft.
It’s not only the supernatural horrors lying in wait within the dense forest that will challenge you, but your sanity. As the madness starts to seep in, the lines between reality and hallucination blur, with potentially disastrous consequences.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu will be coming to Xbox Series X|S in 2025.
RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business
Crime doesn’t pay, but it doesn’t stop the bad guys from trying in this stand-alone follow-up to RoboCop: Rogue City. OCP’s latest project, OmniTower, a massive complex built for the residents of Old Detroit has been seized by a group of highly trained mercenaries who shoot first and ask questions… well never.
Equipped with cutting-edge technology, you’ll need a new arsenal to take these mercs down. Literally freeze them in their tracks with the Cryo Cannon or use the mini-gun to deliver maximum discomfort. Throughout the campaign, you’ll also be able to play as Alex Murphy before the events of the first film, uncovering more of his past before he became the iconic RoboCop.
RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is coming to Xbox Series X|S in Summer 2025.
