As one of the four core members of the original team, alongside Ed Boon, John Tobias, and John Vogel, Forden had been a key part in establishing “the feel and vibe of Mortal Kombat”, from the over-the-top kung-fu-inspired sound effects to the King Crimson-inspired musical direction, and the announcer’s wicked laugh.
