You’ll need The Banyan’s Heart in Phantom Blade Zero to unlock certain skills like Fluid Form Level 2, Quick Remedy, or Opening Strike. You can get your first Banyan Heart towards the end of the Crimson Forest area, just after you activate the Parting Mists bell, after you fight Stone Fist Iron Fever—it’s basically impossible…
Whence the Weeping might seem like a sidequest you’re supposed to complete in Phantom Blade Zero‘s first Weeping Creek Valley area, but it’s actually a major quest that takes a significant portion of the game to finish. If you’ve just started and are here wondering if you’ve missed something: you haven’t, and you don’t need…
(Image credit: S-Game Studios) Why is bleed always so strong? I guess the entire concept of dealing damage, but also building a status bar on an enemy that deals even more damage when it reaches full, is a bit OP as ideas go. Anyone who’s played Elden Ring for any length of time has likely…
(Image credit: S-Game Studios) I spent a long time in Phantom Blade Zero searching for the Backstreet Courtyard Key, convinced it would unlock the inaccessible area where Old Man Gen’s house is located, as well as the third acolyte scarecrow. Turns out, that gate doesn’t lead to either. If you’re searching for that key with…
Phantom Blade Zero blends influences from a variety of sources to create intense, fast-paced combat and a supernaturally infused Kungfupunk world. The Aberrant Three-Faced Puppet is the first optional boss you can encounter in Phantom Blade Zero, but it’s definitely not one you’re supposed to beat when you first find it. It’s definitely possible, but with no Phantom Edges and only your un-upgraded starting weapon, you don’t deal anywhere near enough damage to be likely to…
The Four Fierce Axes quest is likely the second you’ll acquire in Phantom Blade Zero, after Flesh Lily, when you find a “Four Axes” case file in the Broken Puppet Valley early on. You’ll have to “uncover the truth behind the Four Axes Rebellion” which involves continuing to the outpost and defeating the Peng Meng…
You first meet Quickhand Zhang in Phantom Blade Zero‘s Crimson Forest and, assuming you free him, arriving at the Thieves Camp and his first hideout, he quickly recruits you to find his counterparts and unmarked treasure in each region. I’ve included videos below of where to find Zhang’s hideout and the jade treasure chest locations…
