Rory Norris, Guides Writer (Image credit: Future) Last week I was: getting stuck into Battlefield 6, testing out weapons and all the new maps. This week I’ve been: observing Battlefield 6’s bots in the natural habitat, feeling a lot like David Attenborough. A lot of things have changed since the Battlefield 6 beta. Biggest of…
Thoughts and prayers. There’s a version of Indika I’d call one of the most singularly audacious narrative exploration games in recent memory, a daring title that defies easy classification with its surrealist flourishes, cinematic art direction, and cynical inversion of familiar video game mechanics. Unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch version isn’t it. Part spiritual tragicomedy, part…
The latest edition of Weekly Famitsu is now with subscribers in Japan and each week it contains a number of reviews for all three major formats. “That old Xbox is no-longer the heart of this new organisation”. Layoffs aren’t new in the games industry, and in recent years, we’ve seen numerous studios let go of staff or close down entirely. The game industry is in a difficult spot right now, and no company is immune, not even Microsoft. Yesterday, the company…
There are, as you may have noticed, a lot of videogames nowadays. We’re spoiled by the constant flow of game releases: It would be impossible for me to put any real amount of time into every PC game I was interested in, let alone every game that’s well reviewed or recommended by friends and critics…

According to Bloomberg’s Cecilia D’Anastasio, Twitch may announce the layoffs as soon as tomorrow. The news comes just a day after game engine developer Unity announced it’s laying…
This is not a Pokemon Stadium clone. This is not a cheap Tekken rip-off. This is is Pokken Tournament. One of the best looking Wii U games ever and featuring some of the best fight mechanics on the console to date, Pokken Tournament, at least in a single fight format, is better than Super Smash…
