Available now. Although Super Mario Maker 2 on the Nintendo Switch received its final major update back in April 2020, it still occasionally receives a smaller update. The latest one follows on from an update in 2022 that addressed several issues. This latest one makes some adjustments for a more “pleasant gaming experience”. Here it…
A minor theme in FromSoftware’s peerless Soulsborne games is the occasional appearance of an enemy that, for whatever reason, doesn’t aggro on you. My favourite example of this is a mass of crows in Bloodborne’s Hemwick Charnel Lane, all of which bar one will attack, while the remaining crow just sits there all dopey-like. In…
Open beta is off the ground, which means the battlefields of the Solar System are now accessible to all captains! We’re adding new maps, launching a PS4-exclusive premium ship and continuing to improve core elements of the game. There’s never been a better time to be an outlaw captain. Ready to blow up some giant,…
The Switch 2 exclusive has been a long time coming. The Duskbloods, being that it’s a FromSoftware joint and all that good stuff, is certainly high on our list of things we’re very excited about arriving on Switch 2 in the near future. However, given that it’s a multiplayer-typed deal in the same vein as…
Despite no one who’s ever worked as a retail worker recommending it, retail sims are a burgeoning genre following hits like Supermarket Simulator, TCG Card Shop Simulator, and (technically) Schedule 1. I suppose angry customers, low pay, and terrible hours aren’t really that bad when it’s all digital and you’re holding the cards. It turns…

We’ll post new personal picks, alongside our main awards, throughout the rest of the month. My Steam folder is stuffed with screenshots…
Salt, pinched. While we’re all patiently waiting for 2nd April and the next round of official Switch 2 news from Nintendo, some fans are pulling out the cork boards and red string to try and glean any more information about the upcoming console launch. We assume that word of a release date is right around…
What would you say to the following pitch: a Deus Ex fan mod, in the works for seven years, set in a Deus Ex forum whose moderator has been abducted. The factions consist of people like goat worshippers and llama devotees, some enemies use sporks, and people use phrases like “What the radish?” without cringing….
I’ll admit, I was sceptical of Marathon‘s Ranked mode at first. How do you even make a proper competitive system in an extraction shooter, where a win and a loss aren’t quite so easily defined? Well, Bungie’s done it. Though to get it all to work, it’s quite complicated. You earn and lose points to…
Hey everyone! We’re really excited to be back on PlayStation Blog with a brand new trailer for Zero Parades: For Dead Spies. Last year in September’s State of Play, we showed off some of the gameplay features that set Zero Parades apart. Today, we want to shed some first light onto the characters at the…
