Choosing which weapons to use in Avowed is great fun. Almost all one-handed weapons can be equipped in either hand, in any combination, and your character has two loadouts that you can switch between at will—that really gives you a lot of freedom. Want to wield a shield and pistol in one slot and a…
“Cool project” is almost done. Taki Udon – the team leader behind products like the Super 5, SuperStation, and MiSter Pi – has just teased another potential product, this time with a NES theme. “All you need are 8-bits,” he says in a post on social media. “Our hardware intern has been working on a…
Different franchises colliding in videogames has been a thing since some guy at Banpresto realised they could make Godzilla and a Gundam kick a football around an 8-bit pitch in 1992’s Battle Soccer. Sticking a familiar face in a sea of original characters is a solid marketing strategy, and something that I’ve been especially privy…
I am lucky enough to live close to some of the best plant shops I’ve ever had the pleasure to stumble into. I love taking my sweet time strolling around each one, looking at all the plants, succulents, seeds, and pots—all of which I could never dream of fitting into my small apartment. The best…

That test is exactly what iiSU passes. According to XDA Developers, the Android app functions exclusively as a retro gaming…
Sean Martin, Senior Guides Writer (Image credit: Future) Last week I was: getting roundhouse kicked by Cyborgs. This week I’ve been: impressed by the Automaton’s ability to produce seemingly infinite Vox Engines. Anyone who’s been kickin’ around the milky way for a while in Helldivers 2 will recall quite a few events of note in…
With the many areas we’ve covered over the months as we approach the launch of The Order: 1886, there’s still one major aspect we haven’t yet addressed: the cast. About a year into the project, once the story and initial script were written, it was time for us to cast our characters. The requirements were…
