When Capcom hit upon the idea of creating crossover fighters with 1996’s X-Men vs. Street Fighter, it kicked into motion a series of games which would include some of the best brawlers in the business – including Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
The Japanese giant hasn’t produced another crossover fighter since the divisive Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite, and fans have taken it upon themselves to fill the void.
