Warhammer Skulls, the ultimate festival of Warhammer video games returned today for its 10th anniversary – bringing news on Warhammer games, plus huge discounts to be enjoyed across XBOX platforms.
Hosting duties were taken on by Alanah Pearce, who will be voicing Nyra Veyrath in the upcoming Boltgun 2. The Skulls Showcase kicks off an exciting week of world premieres, as well as new announcements and content reveals for XBOX fans. Alongside this celebration, players can expect huge deals and discounts on the XBOX and Microsoft Store, with up to 90% off savings during the event.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch premiered, revealing exciting new protagonists and game mechanics in this hotly anticipated sequel. This time the Deathwatch take over from the Grey Knights, with multiple Xenos factions appearing in the trailer.
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2, having premiered and headlined at Skulls in 2024 , releases and is available today on Xbox! Check out the launch trailer, which features gameplay, in game cut scenes and outlines the narrative from both the Necron and Adeptus Mechanicus factions. This is also the first time the enigmatic Votann have appeared in a Warhammer 40,000 game, so check it out right now!
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster world premiered, giving us a sneak peek at the new stealth action side scroller where you get to play a Skaven assassin in the Mortal Realms. Deathmaster will be coming to XBOX in 2027.

Warhammer Survivors will be coming to Xbox later this year and we got to see more characters across the Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 universes, as well as new levels and enemies – including levels with Warhammer tabletop paint pots to fight across! Wishlist now!
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launched the Purgation free update. It sees a new PVE level, battle barge Practice mode, as well as new weapons and cosmetics. The release also coincides with the Iron Hands Chapter Pack for Season Pass 2 owners. Check it out now.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has announced that a new playable Class will be coming to Xbox and PC on June 23. The Skitarii of the Adeptus Mechanicus is the next playable character joining the fine roster to bolster the ranks of the Rejects. Darktide is also available now on Game Pass Essentials, should you fancy giving it a try.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, which features Warhammer Skulls host Alanah Pearce as Nyra Veyrath, showcased some extended gameplay against a backdrop of taunts from Nyra and Boltgun stalwart, Malum Caedo. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader announced the release date for its third DLC, the Infinite Museion, which is coming to XBOX on June 11. This new DLC sees a new companion join the retinue and a Necron protagonist scheming against your cohorts. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is available to buy on XBOX and PC and is available with XBOX Game Pass. It also features as part of the Free Play Days during the Warhammer Skulls event.

Rust players on XBOX can finally get their hands on the Death Korps of Krieg-inspired war gear and cosmetics DLC as the Warhammer 40,000 Pack is now available on console!
The showcase also saw new content launched on the Microsoft Store. Total War: Warhammer 3 released the Bhashiva Character pack, bringing Tiger Warrior units and characters to the armies of Grand Cathay. The Bhashiva Character pack is available to buy now. Owners of Total War: Warhammer III also get a free Legendary Hero character today.
Elsewhere, there is new content for Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector with the arrival of the Ultramarines, the Dead King arises in Talisman Digital 5th Edition with a new player vs Game survival challenge, and there is also the small matter of aHelldivers 2 X Warhammer 40,000 collab being announced as in the works!
The fun doesn’t stop there though – Game Pass subscribers can also use XBOX Free Play Days to try out multiple Warhammer games over this weekend, including Space Marine Master Crafted Edition, Rogue Trader, Battlesector, Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters and Inquisitor Martyr.
The following games are all available with XBOX Play Anywhere: Rogue Trader, Space Marine 2, Space Marine Master Crafted Edition and Darktide, whilst Warhammer Survivors and Speed Freeks will be XPA at launch.
