There’s been something of a trend when it comes to using old-school game cartridges as delivery methods for music – we’ve recently seen the “brutal party slam band” Party Cannon publish an album on an N64 cart, for example – and Nottingham-based alt/emo group Pillow Fort has followed suit on another Nintendo platform.
“We just announced our debut album Indefinite, but not Forever, releasing on October 2nd via our own label, Cushion Castle, and to accompany it we’ve developed a fully playable Game Boy Advance rhythm game,” the band’s founder, Ryan Crick, tells us.
