Mini Review: The Immortal John Triptych (Switch 2) – One Of The Funniest Games You’ll Ever Play

So sayeth me.

The Immortal John Triptych is one of the funniest games I’ve ever played – certainly the funniest since Thank Goodness You’re Here. It compiles three titles from developer Joe Richardson: Four Last Things, The Procession To Calvary, and Death of the Reprobate. All were released between 2017 and 2024, but including them in one package is undeniably the best way to experience them.

Chances are you’ve never played anything that looks quite like this, though you may well be familiar with many of its sights. All three games were built by taking bits and pieces from famous Middle Ages and Renaissance paintings, stitching them all together to form interactive scenes.
