Some inspiring video has been uploaded to X that appears to show a homebrewed port of Sega’s Virtua Racing running on everyone’s favourite crank-yankin’ handheld console, Playdate.
The two videos, posted to the account of certified tech-head Alex Urbano (@el_goe), include instantly recognisable elements of Sega’s 1992 coin-op classic, including high-speed F1 racing, chunky polygonal models, unnervingly triangular pit men, and even the big wheel backdrop.
