Koei Tecmo, in collaboration with developer Omega Force, are prepping the battlefield for the upcoming release Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered. To whet bloodthirsty appetites, the re-envisioned edition of the PS2 warmonger will be receiving a demo on Thursday, September 24.
A fan-favourite entry in the seemingly endless franchise, Dynasty Warriors 3 originally launched in 2001, utilising the PS2’s power to bring its war of attrition screaming into the new millennium. Built on an entirely new engine, Dynasty Warriors 3 allowed for more frenetic fights, two-player co-op and improved visual fidelity over its predecessor, Dynasty Warriors 2 – itself a very early release in the PS2’s lifetime. All of this was almost undone entirely thanks to the game’s notoriously comical English dub.
