The Tokyo Game Show gave us the very welcome news that Toaplan’s Zero Wing is being ported to the Neo Geo, and this has clearly inspired some people to consider other potential conversation candidates.
One of these is Earthion, a game made with the Mega Drive hardware in mind that launched on modern systems in 2025. Created by Yuzo Koshiro’s Ancient studio, this 2D shooter would be the perfect option for a Neo Geo port; after all, it’s already available on the exA-Arcadia platform in an enhanced format.
