A modder has successfully recompiled a native PC port of 2K Games’ grim first-person adventure, The Darkness. Porting Pete’s recompilation uses the source code from the Xbox 360 edition, first released alongside its PS3 counterpart in 2007.
The Windows port, which sees the Xbox 360 code translated into C++, supports 4K resolutions and ultrawide monitors, and has options for adjusting V-sync, FPS, and FOV, along with game save support.
