Team17 has lifted the lid on a retro-infused roguelike which will offer up both highly challenging platformer gameplay and bucketfuls of (surprisingly unnerving) gore. Little Prince Tyger, currently in development at French studio Saltitude Games, is expected to launch on PC in 2027.
Inspired by William Blake’s 1794 poem “The Tyger“, Little Prince Tyger tells the grim tale of a royal hunter – tasked by the Queen to locate her lost son, Prince Galaad – picking their way through a frightening dark fantasy environment, populated by nightmarish creatures and even scarier memories.
