The Echoes of Silenced Bells quest in Blood of Dawnwalker is one of the few you receive when you leave Laslea and step out into the big wide world. Though quite far south in the St. Tyna’s Grove region, once you make your way there, you’ll have to help Anca enter St. Tyna’s Convent, where…
Facing Ambrus in Blood of Dawnwalker‘s The Gilded Gauntlet quest is likely the first fight you’ll encounter with one of Brencis’s boyars. After all, this foppish Vrakhiri rules over the provinces you start exploring immediately after you leave Laslea, and is responsible for procuring blood from Vale Sangora’s, often unwilling, subjects. As with any of…
Receiving the A Bulwark Against Darkness quest in Blood of Dawnwalker is a bit of a surprise, coming, as it does, from a smuggler who’s been sent to infiltrate Vale Sangora just to give you this message. When you stumble on The Heart Wants What It Wants in a random tavern in Blood of Dawnwalker, you might be surprised by how complex this quest can be in terms of its outcomes. The actual meat of the quest, helping an Uriashi, Ocha, and her friend, Nora, escape the clutches of Svartrau’s crime lord,…

It’s one of those classic “you’re not supposed to win this” boss fights, since losing to him plays a cutscene and continues the story. But where there’s a will, there’s a way….
During Blood of Dawnwalker‘s main prologue quest, Withering Away, you’ll have to prepare Anca’s recipe into a medicine for your mother’s anxiety, helping her overcome her fear to attend the Blood Mass that evening. Anca gives you a page of instructions to follow, but the tricksy game won’t let you view them while making the…
Deciding whether to invite Ambrus in is a tough choice in Blood of Dawnwalker, especially as you don’t really know what “invite” means in this context.
