Less than a minute remains on Steel Hunters‘ countdown clock when the last surviving pair of Hunters lumber into view, rolling over a hilltop toward the same extraction point my own team waits at. Even across a half-mile of desolate wasteland pocked by buildings, I can tell they are Weaver, a mechanical spider armed with…
A few illustrative quotes from the “Future of Marathon Part 1” video that Bungie published today. The team (recently reduced by Sony layoffs) were candid in their plans to transform Marathon from purely an extraction shooter to something more Destiny-shaped: Easier onboarding, dedicated PvE options, a wider variety of PvP (Including a team deathmatch mode),…

It launched in May last year after a stint in early access, and the response was positive, perhaps surprisingly so, considering how tough it must be…
Besides the moment-to-moment shooting, what’s the one thing that’s made Call of Duty the success that it is today? If you ask me, it’s the progression. You level up your account, unlocking new guns as you go, which pulls you into the camo grind, all for you to prestige and do it all over again….
Ubisoft’s promising Gods & Monsters video game has seemingly been renamed to Immortals: Fenyx Rising. The action adventure title has recently been rated in Taiwan, which means it shouldn’t be too far off. We are due a Ubisoft Forward digital event this month so hopefully this will shed more light on the adventure game. Immortals:…

As you might have already guessed, a lot of major first-party releases are included along with some of the biggest third-party and free-to-play titles. This includes games like Zelda, Super Mario, Fortnite,…
