G’AIM’E Light Gun Appears In New ‘Pro’ And ‘Lite’ Hardware Variants

Demonstrated at TGS 2026.

Tassei Denki has shown off new prototypes of its G’AIM’E Light Gun system at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, dubbed ‘Pro’ and ‘Lite’.

The Pro appears to use the same basic design as the existing G’AIM’E gun – which we reviewed back in November of 2025 – but improves accuracy and latency. The Lite is an entirely different product which forgoes the “AI-assisted” camera-based tech of the standard G’AIM’E and uses gyro technology instead, similar to how the Nintendo Wii Remote was used for this genre of game.
