The curator of the unofficial “Game Boy Museum” has finished work on the its newest attraction, a database of the exhibition’s entire itinerary, squeezed down to the size of a Game Boy cart itself.
The project is the work of Dr. Marcel Pflug, who has been curating the Game Boy Museum over the past 25 years. The site is dedicated to the enduring legacy of Nintendo’s best-selling handheld, first released in the spring of 1989. Dr. Pflug’s collection currently contains over 360 catalogued items, including iterations of the original DMG-001 console itself, as well as games, accessories, print media, and other assorted curios.
