RuneScape: Dragonwilds brings the iconic, 25-year-old franchise to XBOX for the first time in 25 years. RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a lovingly hand-crafted Survival RPG adventure set in the legendary world of RuneScape.
You’re no fabled hero or sacred champion – just an ordinary adventurer. But keep at it, and one day you might just have what it takes to conquer Queen Kuldra. You’ve got potential, but if you want to go from zero to Dragon-Slaying hero, you’ll need to learn the ways of the wilds. Master crafts martial, magical, and mundane as you climb from level 1 all the way to 99 and carve your path across Ashenfall.
Ashenfall is a magical, hidden continent of RuneScape (Gielinor to the locals), immersed in the rich lore of our iconic 25-year franchise. Battle the Black Knights, towering Zogres, Chromatic Dragons, Kalphites and more across an enormous continent filled with perilous vaults, ruthless dragons and boundless mysteries. It’s a vibrant, sprawling world full of danger and discoveries for you to find – whether you’re ready or not. Tame the land around you with shovel and sword as you enter new (and more dangerous) territory, harnessing wild anima to defeat all manner of monsters – or just a particularly stubborn river trout.
In this fantasy world, even the ordinary can become epic. Take time to enjoy the magic in the little things, the parts in-between, and the unexpectedly awe-some. After all, what’s the point of survival if you’re not living a little?

Over the course of the past 18 months, RuneScape: Dragonwilds’ journey has seen its map triple in size including three new expansive regions with area bosses, material upgrades and iconic RuneScape gear – with plenty more to come with an expansive Roadmap of content post-1.0 release heading into 2027 and beyond.
